Mar\u00eda Acaso<\/strong><\/a> is a reference figure in the field of the so-called 21st Century Education.
\nConcerned about the problems that teachers have right now in transmitting knowledge to their students, she states that it is necessary to change teaching methods.
\nIn her opinion, more important than WHAT we want to teach is HOW we can teach it.
\nFor this reason, she has developed 5 action frameworks from which teachers must start to build teaching and learning dynamics. <\/p>\n

The 5 micro-revolutions<\/h2>\n

She denominates these 5 frames with the word.
\nchiripitifl\u00e1utica<\/em> microrevolutions: <\/p>\n

  1. Accept that what we teach is not what students learn.
    \nTake into account the unconscious of each person when processing information. <\/li>\n
  2. Changing power dynamics.
    \nDemocratize the classroom.
    \nWhat the teacher can teach the student is as important as what the student can teach the teacher, or what the students can learn from each other. <\/li>\n
  3. Thinking with the body.
    \nRehabilitating learning spaces.
    \nRethinking work times.
    \nLiving in the place where one learns. <\/li>\n
  4. Moving from the simulation of study to the learning experience.
    \nTo unite the concept of pleasure with the concept of effort. <\/li>\n
  5. Stop evaluating and move on to research.
    \nTo dispense with exams.
    \nFind new ways to represent learning. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The rEDUvolution<\/h2>\n

    Another term invented by Mar\u00eda Acaso,<\/strong> and which is generating currents of sympathy around the world, is rEDUvolution,<\/em> which combines revolution with education .<\/em>
    \nAs coordinator of the Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica School of Disruptive Education<\/em> since 2013, Mar\u00eda gives talks and organizes meetings between pedagogues and mothers\/parents to encourage change and generate dialogue.
    \nMar\u00eda is also a founding member of the group     Invisible Pedagogies,<\/em><\/a> created in 2008, through which she approaches and implements projects related to art and pedagogy, such as the Art Thinking School.<\/em><\/a> <\/p>\n

    Art and critical thinking<\/h2>\n

    In an interview published on the website Realinfluencers,<\/em><\/a> Maria Acaso<\/strong> states that critical thinking has disappeared from schools.
    \n“Developing critical thinking, and especially visual critical thinking, is one of the most important goals of any educational institution,”<\/em> assures Mar\u00eda.
    \n“The arts have been practically annihilated from the Spanish educational system <\/em>,” Maria continues. A society that has deprived children and young people of knowledge about the languages they consume the most (audiovisual language) is a blind society in every sense”.<\/em><\/p>\n
