Description
About the artist… Designer Laurence Dachouffe grew up in a hat factory amid cardboard boxes and felts, surrounded by smart systems invented by her grandfather, a great playground to feed her imagination and taste for materials.
She trained in graphic design and advertising arts at the Stedelijke Leuven Academie.
A designer in communication, passionate about interactive and playful design, in love with words and images, she is encouraged by the need to return to the manual, to manipulate and make things oneself.
In search of a reconnection with her creativity, she launched the Happy Makers project to share her passion and connect people through inspiring ideas, especially during the creative workshops she organizes.
To make quality connections and move from digital to tactile, she created the DesignMaker play tool to stimulate the creativity in each of us.
