About the artist…
The Gran Canaria Cayetana H. Cuyás did part of his training in Denmark, where he did an internship for three years at Zentropa, the production company of Lars Von Trier and Peter Aelbeck Jensen.
Here he began working in the film industry in the Art Department and participated in titles such as ‘Melancholy’, ‘Blekingegade’, ‘Magi i luften’ and ‘Vicevaerten’.
At the end of her internship she returned to the Canary Islands to develop her own projects as a film director and set up Studio Las Coloradas, which for five years became the focus of creations by various Canarian and foreign artists.
She also worked on local short films and national and international feature films, such as ‘Wild Oats’, ‘Las ovejas no pierden el tren’, ‘Allied’, ‘Rec 4’ and ‘El Banjo’.
Talented in all fields.
