Just a week ago Art Madrid kicked off, a fair in which we wanted to participate since our gallery opened in 2013.
Art Madrid is held on the same days as ARCO, but because of its location in the center of the city, it seemed ideal for us to make ourselves known in the city, and so it has been! Madrilenians are very faithful to these appointments with art; it is not very common to see queues to enter a fair, so we are very grateful for the enthusiasm and affection with which they have come to meet us. Plom Gallery’ s stand was part of the“One Project” program in which unpublished, multidisciplinary and specific projects are shown, a total of 8 galleries.
This is how our little gallery looked like after a morning of assembly!

The proposal we presented was entitled“Kidult Generation“, an exhibition of the artist Sergio Mora, created especially for the fair, ideal to introduce ourselves as the first gallery specialized in introducing art to children.
Our “public”, our followers and our clients are for us “kidults”, adults who like to keep that part of the “child they have been”, and children who, together with their parents, share the same tastes in music, cinema, comics… Many families passed by our stand, some of our followers in Madrid who took the opportunity to meet us like Peeck and Pack or Bea from Con Botas de Agua with whom we have spoken by mail but we didn’t know, people from Barcelona who came to say hello but also other gallery owners, collectors, curators, interested press and personalities!
We want to thank you all, it has been a great experience.
The superpowers of art have already left Barcelona and after Madrid they will surely cross borders!

This has been our first fair, many more will come for sure!
See you next year! IMG_5729 Maite Felices, Boomer & Me!
