We release the video “This is how PLOM ice cream was made”.
We recorded it on the occasion of the creation of PLOM ice cream, the first ice cream in the world designed by children who love contemporary art.

Why an ice cream?

July arrived and we realized that summer was already in full swing, the kids were out of school and vacation was just around the corner.
We felt the need to celebrate somehow. “How about an ice cream?” In the same Séneca street, where our gallery is located, you can find the best artisan ice cream parlor in Barcelona (we don’t say so, the experts say so). experts say so): we refer to Paral.lelo Gelato. They were the ones who, inspired by who knows what divine summer divinity, blurted out: “If PLOM Gallery were an ice cream, what would it be like? What would it taste like?” The question made us all daydream.

Suddenly, Mirthe Blussé’s cone appears.

The PLOM ice cream coincided with the preparation of the exhibition “Summer”. “Summer”, of the Dutch artist based in Barcelona, Mirthe Blussé. Mirthe Blussé. Selecting among all her new works, we found a painting that filled us with joy: a gigantic ice cream cone with four scoops! with four scoops! What if we organized a contest on Instagram inviting PLOM kids to draw “their PLOM ice cream” and the one who receives the most “likes” gets a reproduction of Blussé’s ice cream as a prize?
