About the artist…Carmen Segovia was born in 1978 in Barcelona, and grew up between Cerdanyola, and Albox, a village next to the desert of Almeria.
After a first period in which she approached cinema studying set design, she ended up leaning towards drawing and illustration studying at La Llotja and Escola Eina in Barcelona.
He currently lives and works in Barcelona.
In addition to her collaborations in the press, she regularly illustrates books internationally, collaborates with bands and musical projects and develops her artistic career as a painter.
Her works of this last facet have been shown in art galleries in Paris, Barcelona and Mexico City.
She has worked as an illustrator for: The New Yorker, Le Monde, The Wall Street Journal, La Vanguardia, or Nobrow magazine, among others.
