About the artist…

Vanessa Linares was born in Barcelona.  She studied Fine Arts and specialized in graphic design. After working in a company as a graphic designer, she finally dared to show her drawings, making her first exhibition in Barcelona. From that moment on she began to exhibit in different galleries, combining her work as an illustrator and graphic designer.

Vanessa’s work is intimate, tender, innocent, but sometimes also disruptive. Her large-eyed “guspirus” are present in most everyone of her paintings and watercolors: of all sizes, of all colors … Sometimes they seem human and other times we would not know how to define them. In any case, we love her work because it makes us dream, travel and get lost in those beautiful forests.
