Pablo, also known as Pintachánhas been an illustrator for over a decade and works for some of the biggest media brands in Spain and around the world.
Some of his clients and collaborators include Mudpuppy, Red Cross, Monocle, Sky1 TV, Astrapi Magazine and Anorak Magazine. His career as an illustrator is the successful product of a T-shirt company he launched in the early 2000s.
They had everything they needed, except the money to pay an illustrator, so he decided to do it himself. Pintachán has a degree in biology.
After several failed experiments, he decided to leave the test tubes and take up brushes.
Since then, although he is self-taught, he has not stopped studying and practicing to be a little better every day. Retro, naive, childish …
These are words that come to mind when describing Pintachán’s work.
It is an aesthetic language with which he identifies himself, although it is mainly a direct and friendly way to wrap ideas or concepts that do not necessarily belong to a childish world.
