Mr.
Ed is an Argentine illustrator based in Barcelona since 1998.
He collaborates in press and advertising in Spain, France, Mexico and Argentina and also regularly works for the French children’s magazines of the Milan publishing house, such as Moi Je Lis, Histories pour le Petits and others. As a comic author he has published, The Octopus.
Winners with losers (Bang!, 2005), Loser (Bang!, 2006) -both awarded with the Junceda Prize, granted by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC)- and Manu on the beach (Bang!, 2009), with script by Diego Arandojo.
Some of his work has been published in magazines and anthologies such as Fantagraphics (USA), Bulb Comix (Switzerland), Black Pulp Box (Spain) and Dopututto Max (France), among others.
He is also co-director of the Mamut Collection, an imprint of Bang! specializing in comics for children ages 3 and up.
He is a member of the ILU-STATION collective, organizers of the first International Festival of Independent Illustration in Barcelona.
