About the artist…Candela Ferrández is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer who, after graduating in Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca, studied a postgraduate degree in illustration at the Eina School in Barcelona.
She has illustrated children’s books for Penguin Random House and has worked for Éditions Maison des Langues, Círculo de Lectores, El Periódico de Cataluña, Tommy Hilfiger, Paramita and important agencies such as Grupo Bassat Ogilvy, Grey Group, Noline and Tapsa, among others. She loves to draw, especially girls, animals, flowers and plants.
She always tries to give a touch of humor to her works, giving them this fun and lively touch so characteristic of her.
Lately she has entered the world of ceramics, which has allowed her to transform her paper drawings into tangible figures, and she is passionate about it.
And when you are passionate about what you do, it shows!
