About the artist…Vall Karsunke grew up in a family of artists and was a clothing merchant when the dreams began.
Vall Karsunke paints from the heart, the characters that emerge are innocent yet powerful, with a simplicity that slowly allows the underlying complexities to come into focus, like the dreams from which they emerged. Since he began painting, he has had works exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions and his paintings have won him prizes in art competitions throughout Catalonia. He is currently developing a set of sculptures made from discarded piano keys and has been commissioned to work on a series of paintings of “Mandrake The Magician,” based on the classic American comic strip character by Lee Falk.
