We are proud to announce the new edition that Mosquito Books has just released of our book Los Superpoderes del Arte: Una historia desordenada. Just as magical as the first one, but with an enlargement full of unpublished illustrations by Brianda Fitz-James Stuart, the artist who puts the images and color to the story that Pedro Calleja tells us.

This story that we would be super fans of even if the book was not ours.
Because we truly believe that real artists have superpowers, as we discover chapter by chapter, read in order or out of order, because even that is possible in this story.

Ready to jump through time and space and visit great artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse and Frida Kahlo among others?
Ready to see how they use their superpowers against the great villains of this work, Lord Omega and Madame Nada?
Because it is usually like that, superheroes have super enemies, and in this case it would not be less, and a black spot that calls himself Lord, and a white spot that goes by Madame, will go through the history of art to stain or erase the great works that these artists have left us, without revealing here their motivations.
Do you think they will get away with it?
We don’t want to do spoilers, but know in advance that they won’t have it easy because each artist has a unique superpower with which they will defend themselves against these two rascals.
What superpowers exactly, you ask?
Well, the same ones you’ve had inside you since you were a kid, and that you’ll rediscover if you dare to join this journey with us.

So if you love art, come celebrate with us these talented creators, those who were already in the first edition and those who were left out, come if you know you also have superpowers or if you want to remember what they are, there are only these two options and we think both are wonderful.   And if you are a fan of the work of Brianda Fitz-James Stuart in our online shop we have many of the original drawings from the book, some framed and ready to hang!
You have them all here!
