This year, PLOM Gallery is collaborating with the 9th edition of the FLIC, the festival of literature and arts for children and young people, by taking charge of the Illustrators Table.
There are only 18 days left. On Friday 15 and Thursday 16 March 2019, at the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, PLOM Gallery will take part in the Literary Creation Fair of FLIC with an unprecedented format.
The proposal, coordinated by PLOM and FLIC, is entitled Illustrators’ Table and its objective is to give visibility and offer a privileged point of sale to illustration professionals.
PLOM Gallery has been in charge of selecting works by almost 50 national and international artists. These works will be exhibited and marketed in a unique space that will be accessible to professional and family audiences.
New illustrators, new talents
The Illustrators’ Table will be part of the 2019 FLIC Literary Creation Fair. The official program of the fair also includes lectures, masterclasses, debates and workshops on literature and art.
It has been very gratifying to select the works for the Table ,” explains Martha Zimmermann. Martha Zimmermann founder of PLOM Gallery. I have discovered wonderful artists that I did not know. The idea is that one of them will be represented by PLOM Gallery for a period of 12 months. But maybe it’s not just one artist, but several”.
The 9th edition of FLIC will be held on March 15 and 16, 2019 at Sala A of the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, 37 (08018 Barcelona).
